Lloyd’s Register has attained JAS-ANZ accreditation to deliver ISO 45001:2018 certification

Lloyd’s Register (LR) has attained JAS-ANZ accreditation to deliver ISO 45001:2018, the new international Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management System standard certification.

JAS-ANZ is the government-appointed accreditation body for Australia and New Zealand responsible for providing accreditation of conformity assessment bodies (CABs) in the fields of certification and inspection.

ISO 45001 was developed using the ten part High-Level Structure, and is now aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, allowing organisations to more easily integrate systems. The stated benefits of ISO 45001:2018 is a robust and effective set of processes for improving work safety in global supply chains, and is applicable for organizations of all sizes, from all industries and jurisdictions of operation. An ultimate expectation of the standard is to help reduce workplace injuries and illnesses around the world.
